School dental education

People worldwide are suffering from dental problems. Nowadays dental problems have become an inevitable part of one's life. Primarily dental problems are caused due to the negligence of people in taking care of their teeth. But if we see then we'll find that the group which is most affected with dental problems are the children. Therefore certain steps need to be taken so as to make the children aware of the dental problems. One such way can be by incorporating school dental education.

Dental problems

Children generally eat lots of chocolates because of which they face lot of dental problems such as tooth decay, periodontal problems etc. Also the children are negligent in taking proper care of their teeth i.e. they don't brush properly and also they are unable to understand the effects of the street side foods that they eat. Actually hat happens is, when they eat food then the food particles get deposited in the teeth. Now these food particles and the chocolates give rise to bacteria formation which in turn results in tooth decay and several other dental problems.

Need to make the children aware

Therefore as we can see that the most affected group is the children so they need to be made aware of the dental problems. The best way to make them aware of the dental problems is through school education because it is the only place where they spend their maximum time. They can be educated regarding the dental problems by appointing some dentists in the school who will enlighten the kids about the dental problems and the need to take proper care. It is better that the children should be taught regarding the matter by using some charts and some diagrams. It is because the children will then understand the matter more easily. It would be easy for them to grasp. They should be taught the steps that are necessary to be taken so as to maintain the proper health of their teeth. Also they should e made aware of the hazardous circumstances that they might face if they don't take proper care of their teeth.

Strengthen the future

By making the children aware of the dental problems and by teaching them the ways to improve the conditions and the preventive steps we will be strengthening our future generations.
